Armando Pereira - President and CEO
 

Armando has over twenty three years experience in engineering and marketing of high-technology systems for the telecommunications industry. He has been very successful in developing and marketing high-technology products, and has a proven track record in leading innovation-driven organizations. Prior to FlexLight Armando was the General Manager of the Optical Business Unit at Centillium Communications, and earlier a co-founder and CEO of Alloptic, Inc. He has made significant contributions to the development of today's optical broadband networks, chief among them by pioneering the concept of Gigabit Ethernet on passive optical networks. He has contributed to the development of several industry standards under the ANSI, the T1-Committee and the IEEE organizations. Armando holds a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA from the University of Santa Clara . He sits on the Board of Directors at the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) and on the Board of Governors at the Electronics Industry Alliance (EIA).

   
   
  Oren Marmur - Founder, Chief Technical Officer
    Oren Marmur contributes years of networking experience to the Management Team. His vast experience includes eight years in R&D for the Defense and Telecom sectors. Most recently, he was group manager for system engineering of optical and advanced networks at ECI Telecom. Oren's expertise in R&D and system design of advanced and complex optical networking platforms and electro-optical systems complements his in-depth knowledge of IP and datacom services over optical networks. Oren graduated from the Talpiot program at Jerusalem's Hebrew University with a B.Sc in Physics and Electronics. From 1993-1995, he studied in the Electrical Engineering Graduate Program at Tel Aviv University.
     
     
  Craig R. Hall - Vice President Sales
    Craig Hall joined Flexlight in mid-2005 with a record of global accomplishment and leadership in technology, government and academia.
Before Flexlight, he was President of Bolsa Margari where he worked with investment and venture capital groups undertaking corporate transformations and leading strategic initiatives .
With over 16 years of experience in telecommunications at Nortel and Alcatel, Craig has held a variety of assignments in North America, Asia and Europe delivering contracts in excess of $1 billion revenue.
Mr. Hall has earned advanced certificates in International Relations / Economics in Washington , D.C. and an undergraduate degree in Political Economy from the University of Utah . He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Sloan Foundation / Columbia Institute for Tele-Information (CITI) at Columbia University 's Graduate School of Business in New York City .
     
     
  Guy Shamir - Vice President Operations
    Guy Shamir has over 15 years of extensive experience in NPI, Manufacturing and Operations development and management in the High-Tech Datacom & Telecom Networks and Power Electronics Industry. Prior to joining Flexlight Networks he served as Director in Corrigent Systems, daughter company of Orckit Communications (NASDAQ: ORCT). He was responsible for transferring manufacturing to China using turnkey Contract Manufacturers to supply the growing demand and achieving low cost goals as Chief Operating Officer in Metrolight Ltd - a world leader in Electronic Ballasts. He was the VP Operations of NetReality, a leading QOS Network Management company (Acquired by Allot Communications). Guy has also earned his international experience as Site Operations Manager at Nortel Networks (NYSE: NT) and was responsible for establishing NPI and Logistics processes with Operations headquarters in the USA. Guy Shamir holds a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tel Aviv University.
