Ohad Finkelstein - Chairman |
| |
|
Between January 1999 and July
2002, Mr. Finkelstein served as Chairman, President, and CEO
of the Interroute Telecom Group, a rapidly growing pan-European
telecommunications company building one of the largest fiber
optic networks in Europe. Prior to joining Interoute, Mr. Finkelstein
served as Senior Vice President of International Sales and Vice
President of Global Operations for VocalTec Communications Ltd.
He has also served as a senior advisor for I.D.E.A., a world
leader in financial and economic analysis. Mr. Finkelstein was
Director of Computers and Peripherals at Eurocom Communications
Ltd., and head of International Activities at Packard Bell Electronics.
Mr. Finkelstein holds bachelor degrees in Political Science
and International Marketing from the University of California
in Los Angeles (UCLA). |

Armando Pereira - President and CEO |

Armando has over twenty three years experience
in engineering and marketing of high-technology systems for
the telecommunications industry. He is fluent in several languages
and has extensive experience in worldwide business. He has been
very successful in developing and marketing high-technology
products, and has a proven track record in leading innovation-driven
organizations.
In 2002 Armando joined Centillium Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:
CTLM) as Vice President / General Manager to establish a new
business unit – the Optical Business Unit (OBU). He developed
its operating plan, hired a diverse and geographically dispersed
team, and established strategic partnerships with top tier OEMs
and network operators in the US, Japan, Korea, China, and Taiwan.
In 1999, Armando co-founded Alloptic, the leading manufacturer
of passive optical IP and Ethernet solutions for the access
network. He helped pioneer the concept of Gigabit Ethernet Passive
Optical Network (EPON), was a leading proponent of a new standards
effort at IEEE now known as 802.3ah, and a founding member of
the Ethernet in the First Mile Alliance (EFMA). Armando was
a member of the Alloptic Board, became Alloptic’s President
and Chief Executive Officer in July 2001.
Prior to Alloptic, he was co-founder of a startup developing
a multi-services platform, Senior Director of Marketing of a
Digital Loop Carrier company, had his own consulting practice,
and started in the high technology industry as a design engineer
in 1982.
Armando holds a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering, and
an MBA. He has been a member of ANSI / T1-Commitee standards
bodies, and was the editor of the IEEE 1007 standard. Armando
currently sits on the Board of Directors at the TIA in Washington
DC and on the Board of Governors at the EIA in Washington DC. |

Fahri Diner - General Partner, Applied
Materials Ventures |

|
Fahri Diner is a communications executive
with extensive experience in conceiving new value propositions
and building high-tech organizations to successfully execute
aggressive business plans.
Fahri was the Founder, Director, President, and Chief Executive
Officer of Qtera Corporation, founded in September 1998. Qtera
quickly became the leading provider of ultra-long-haul photonic
networking solutions for the Optical Internet and was acquired
in January 2000 by Nortel Networks for $3.25 billion. Subsequent
to the acquisition, Fahri continued to lead Qtera as a wholly
owned subsidiary of Nortel in his capacity as President until
May 2001.
Before founding Qtera, Fahri was with Siemens, where as a member
of an executive team, he helped establish and manage the company's
Optical Networks business unit in North America, which was later
spun-off as Optisphere Networks in April 2000.
Prior to joining Siemens, Fahri led Pirelli's pioneering activities
in the optical amplifier and Wavelength Division Multiplexing
(WDM) markets, including the introduction of the first terrestrial
WDM system and the first multi channel, bi-directional optical
amplifiers in North America. The optical systems division of
Pirelli, where Fahri had overall product strategy, product management,
and marketing responsibility was later acquired by Cisco Systems
in March 2000 for $2.15 billion.
During his 13-year career in fiber optic telecommunications,
Fahri's areas of responsibility have spanned product strategy,
design and development, marketing, product line management,
operations, business development, finance, and executive management.
A native of Cyprus, an island in the Mediterranean, Fahri came
to the United States in 1985 on full academic scholarship to
the Florida Institute of Technology, where he earned his B.S.
degree in Electrical Engineering. Fahri holds five patents in
the field of fiber optics and optical communications. |

Avi Domoshevizki - General Partner,
Concord Ventures |
| |
|
Avi Domoshevizki joined the Concord team in
March 2000 and focuses on the Data and Telecommunications sector.
Prior to joining Concord, Avi founded and served as CEO of Seabridge
Ltd., a leading hi-tech company in the area of ATM/IP multi-service
platforms that was acquired by Newbridge and Siemens. Previously
he served as Senior Director at ECI Telecom, where he was responsible
for business development, sales and marketing of ECI's access
and SDH activities.
Avi holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion
Institute of Technology and a M.Sc. in Business Management from
the Boston/Ben Gurion joint program. |

Joe Golden - General Partner, Accel
Partners |
| |
|
Joe Golden has over 20 years of experience
in the telecommunications and networking industry. With his
extensive European operating experience, he brings to Accel
Europe a unique technical and commercial understanding of the
global telecommunications and networking space, and trans-Atlantic
technology transfer and growth.
Prior to joining Accel, Joe was the Managing Director of Cisco
Systems Business Development and Strategic Alliances for Europe,
Middle East and Africa, based in London and reporting directly
to Mike Volpi, the Chief Strategy Officer at Cisco. During Joe's
tenure in this position, Cisco invested over $5 billion in Europe
in strategic acquisitions and technology start-ups. Joe was
also active on multiple international boards, including Italtel
S.p.A. and Riversoft PLC.
Prior to this assignment, Joe held various senior management
positions at Cisco, with responsibilities ranging from driving
service solutions for large franchise carriers such as AT&T
and Deutsche Telekom to Vice President of Marketing in the Multiservice
Switching Business Unit.
Before joining Cisco, Joe was the Chief Operating Officer and
Vice President of Marketing for Ardent Communications, a Wu
Fu Chen start-up acquired by Cisco in 1997. Prior to joining
Ardent, Joe was the Managing Director of Europe for Ascom Timeplex
in Bern, Switzerland. Additionally, Joe has held European and
U.S.-based senior management positions with Raynet G.m.b.H.
(acquired by Ericsson), ROLM (a Siemens company) and Silicon
Systems (part of the Texas Instruments Storage Products Group).
Joe has lived and worked in France, Germany, Switzerland and
the U.K., and spent part of his childhood in Germany. Having
lived in Europe for over 13 years, he speaks English, German
and French.
Joe holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford
University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. |
